The Bricklayers Arms public house is on Main Street in the heart of the village.

New landlords Paul and Becky Heath took over the pub in February 2023.
It is a warm and welcoming traditional country village pub and restaurant.
There is a large garden with a dedicated children’s play area and a pathway leading down to Thornton reservoir.
In the winter months enjoy the coal fires for that cosy feeling; most welcome to the many walkers who come to Thornton to enjoy the walking here.
The pub is the perfect place to enjoy a spot of home-cooked lunch or dinner with family and friends.
Dogs and muddy boots are welcome where there are tiled floors (not in the dining room).
