Moira Canal Festival Weekend – Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st May
10am – 5pm.
The Annual Canal Festival returns to the historic Moira Furnace. Too many activities and events to list here, but amongst other things there will be music of all kinds, choirs, stalls demonstrations, boats, planes, Morris dancing and children’s entertainers, a bar and refreshments. *The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be flying on Saturday and the Spitfire on Sunday.

Open Streets Arts Market

On Sunday 28 May the Open Streets is taking place, from 1pm-4pm. There will be activities for the general public happening in/around Town Hall Square, Green Dragon Square and Market Place. The May event has an art theme and there is a call for artists to get in touch if they would like to display and sell their art at Leicester Market on the day.
