Directions / Parking
Head for LE67 IAH where there is some parking at the Community Centre. You may also park at Thornton Club, just down the road. Please avoid over parking on Main Street as it becomes very congested at the best of times!  A sheet with further information on parking is available, with suggestions on where places can be found on the walking route. There is also the opportunity to ‘book’ to park on one of a small number of private drives that have been made available in the village (no charge). To receive this information, please email by 6pm on Saturday 20th at the very latest.
Accessibility: It should be noted that Thornton is built on a ridge and so many of the gardens are on slopes or are terraced with steps and are therefore not suitable for those in wheelchairs or with impaired mobility. Some of the pavements are also narrow. Our printed programme attempts to indicate those more suitable.
There is no need to book ahead, but you may book online here (please note that there will be a booking fee or 42p per person added if you use this link – tickets on the door are unlimited so you may prefer just to turn up)
