Part of the public footpath through the churchyard is closed temporarily because of the danger of falling branches from a very poorly silver birch tree.
Access through the churchyard is now through the new churchyard.
There is a branch directly over the footpath about to fall. One branch fell while we were in the church yard. Two pigeons landed on it, and crash!
Permission is being sought to remove the tree as soon as possible.
