The trustees at Thornton Community Centre would like to thank the Reader family for their kind donation on behalf of village resident Phil Reader who passed away recently.
“Just to let you know, with thanks to those who donated in memory of Phil Reader, I’ve transferred £320 to Thornton Community Centre Fund.
Dad enjoyed many evenings over the years playing badminton in the hall and generally at village fêtes held at the Centre he would be running the ice-cream stall!
So nice that, thanks to the Trustees, Thornton Community Centre continues to thrive and be such a valuable place for the local community to enjoy activities and join together. I know dad would be pleased”
