Christmas Craft and Food Fayre Saturday 21st November

The Annual Friends of St Peter’s Christmas Craft Fayre raising money for the medieval St Peter’s Church, Thornton will this year include local food produce.

We are excited to bring you locally brewed beer, locally made honey, bread and savouries baked in the village, cheeses, jams and pickles, mincemeat and mulled wine, as well as our usual cake stall and delicious samosas.
Hence the name change to Christmas Craft and Food Fayre.

It will be a great opportunity to buy some delicious local produce, for some Christmas shopping and to see Father Christmas. As well as the food stalls there will be craft stalls with a range of lovely items including jewellery, leather goods, wooden items, homemade teddies, beautiful stationery and art work, knitted items, homeware and all sorts of Christmassy things.

We hope you are able to pop along on Saturday 21st November between 10 am to 2 pm to Thornton Community Centre.

Mulled wine (non alcoholic) will be on sale from the kitchen as will bacon and sausage cobs, cheese and tomato rolls and plenty of tea and coffee.

And of course Santa, having arrived by steam engine with a sack full of gifts, will be in his grotto for children to meet and chat to.
Please do visit the Fayre if you can.

Offers of help, cakes, raffle and tombola prizes very welcome.
