A spoken word open mic organised as part of Burbage Arts Festival in May.
The event is on Wednesday 14th May at Burbage Community library featuring local residents and Shruti Chauhan, Leicester Poet & BBC Radio Leicester Presenter.
We are looking for more local performers to join us for the evening, with the theme Vivid Verse. This can be in the form of spoken word, poetry or short stories.
Anyone wishing to attend as audience members can buy tickets on www.bcaf.net.
If you or your group have any questions, please don’t hesitate to be in touch and really hope it is something that might appeal to your talented performers! We are just asking for any submissions to let us know by Thursday 17th April.
